We asked nearly 300 people to fill out our Redemption Church Experience Survey in January 2020 . After numerous hours of study, the only mandate the elders found was that we need to have our own building. (we are working on that!)

There were a few items that, although not indicating an overwhelming issue, we thought we needed to address. Since the surveys were anonymous we cannot reach out to individuals but we did want to offer what we hope would be explanations or solutions to these issues.

MUSIC VOLUME
A handful of people mentioned that the worship music can be too loud. We had to weigh this against the overwhelmingly positive response from the survey to the worship music.

One of the difficulties of our current location is the limits of the CHS theater.  One of those limits is the acoustics. Since we cannot modify the room, we are limited to what we can do.  However, we are in the process of changing our amplification system in hopes that the room will be more acoustically balanced.

SERVING OPPORTUNITIES
A few people mentioned that they wished it were easier to find areas in which they can serve.  Serving with others in your church family is a great way to make new friends, as well as be of service to the body of Christ.  We invite you to take a quick survey to let us know how God equipped you so that we can match you up to available serving positions.

NOT FEELING CONNECTED
A small number of people shared that although they have been attending RC for some time, they feel disconnected.  They used words like distant, alone and “not part of the group.” It can be a very discouraging feeling to be in a group of people but feel alone.  Although it does require a bit of effort, we would like to suggest that you visit a few RE:Groups to see if you can find a good fit.  This can be intimidating to many of us, but it is a proven way to develop connection, as well as to promote your own spiritual growth.
